SIMON FISCHINGER BECOMES NEW CHIEF OPERATION OFFICER AT THE MOTION CONTROL EXPERT
Böblingen, April 13, 2023 - Synapticon GmbH, an expert in integrated motion, has been developing and producing innovative software and hardware for sophisticated motion control in robotics, automation and mechanical engineering for ten years. The company, which will present its latest developments at LogiMAT and Hannover Messe in April, today announces the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Synapticon is thus taking a strategically significant step, as Simon Fischinger, an employee from the very beginning, will be the main person responsible for the operational business in the future. This decision underlines Synapticon's commitment to further expanding its technology leadership in the field of motion control.
Simon Fischinger has been part of Synapticon's success story since 2013 and has made important contributions in various positions. Prior to his appointment as COO, Fischinger had been Vice President of Engineering since 2016 and was responsible for the development of all current products. Under his leadership, Synapticon has launched numerous successful product innovations, entered new markets and built a reputation as a technology leader in motion control solutions.
Fischinger has extensive and in-depth technological know-how, which he has used to significantly shape the development of Synapticon over the past ten years. He holds a master's degree in mechatronics and expanded his expertise with an MBA from the renowned Mannheim Business School.
"As the new COO at Synapticon, my goal is to continue to push the boundaries of what is technically possible and lead our company to the forefront of the robotics and automation industry. Together with our talented team, we will continue to develop groundbreaking solutions that will have a major impact on the future of the entire industry," explains Simon Fischinger. "Manufacturers of cobots, AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) and AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) urgently need combined hardware and software solutions that allow them to develop more compact, more powerful, safer and, last but not least, more cost-effective products. This is exactly what we want to make possible."
In his new role as COO, Simon Fischinger assumes responsibility for various core areas of the company and is primarily responsible for the operational business. His responsibilities include product development, finance, purchasing, production, sales and customer application engineering. This broad range of responsibilities reflects the confidence the company has in his skills, experience and expertise.
